Healthy Halloween Good and Gluten Free Gross Out Party Food

On the tray below we have a few very healthy Halloween treats that are yummy and fun to make with your children's help. They were part of our "Gross But Good Halloween Treats" for our R.O.C.K. party. So get your ingredients ready for some gluten free treats for the Halloween festivities. Remember to always check your labels when in doubt.

Apple Monster Bites

All you need is:
Apples
Slivered Almonds

1. Quarter and core an apple.
2. Cut a wedge from the skin side of each quarter.
3. Press slivered almonds in place for teeth.
*Tip: If you're not going to serve right away, baste the apples with orange juice to keep apples from browning.


Ghoulishly Gruesome Eyeballs

All you need is:
Carrots
GF Cream Cheese
Pitted Black Olives

1. Simply slice carrots into 1" chunks.
2. Top each carrot slice with a blob of cream cheese and one half of a pitted black olive for pupil of eye.


Puss Filled Pimples

All you need is:
Cherry Tomatoes
GF Herb & Garlic Flavored Cheese or Cream Cheese

1. With a spoon, scoop out the core and seeds of the cherry tomatoes.
2. Fill the tomatoes with cheese mixture.
3. Slightly squeeze to make cheese "ooze" a bit. Serve.
